ॐ जय सूर्य भगवान, स्वामी जय सूर्य भगवान।
जगत के नेत्र स्वरूपा, तुम हो त्रिगुण-आधाना॥
Transliteration
Om Jai Surya Bhagwan, Swami Jai Surya Bhagwan
Jagat ke netra swaroopa, tum ho trigun-aadhaana
Meaning
Victory to Lord Surya — you are the eye of the world, the foundation of the three gunas.

देवनागरी
सप्त अश्व रथ राजित, एक चक्र धारी।
दुख हरता सुख कर्ता, मानव हितकारी॥
Transliteration
Sapt ashwa rath rajit, ek chakra dhaari
Dukh harta sukh karta, maanav hitkari
Meaning
Seven horses draw your blazing chariot, one wheel turns at your hand — remover of grief, giver of joy, well-wisher of mankind.

सुर-मुनि भक्त सुहावे, तेज प्रकाशन्ते।
विश्व विजय कर ध्वजसे, प्रति-पल जग जागे॥
Transliteration
Sur-muni bhakt suhaave, tej prakaashante
Vishwa vijay kar dhwajase, prati-pal jag jaage
Meaning
Gods, sages, and devotees are gladdened by your radiance; under your victory-banner the world wakes moment by moment.

कमल समूह विकासे, हर्षित जग होता।
जन-मन तिमिर हराते, ज्ञान का दाता॥
Transliteration
Kamal samooh vikaase, harshit jag hota
Jan-man timir haraate, gyaan ka daata
Meaning
The lotuses unfurl, the world rejoices. You dispel the darkness in every heart and bestow the gift of knowledge.
