Verse 1
देवनागरी
कदाचित् कालिन्दी-तट-विपिन-संगीत-तरलो,
मुदाभीरी-नारी-वदन-कमलास्वाद-मधुपः।
रमा-शम्भु-ब्रह्मामर-पति-गणेशार्चित-पदो,
जगन्नाथः स्वामी नयन-पथगामी भवतु मे॥
Transliteration
Kadaachit kaalindi-tata-vipina-sangeeta-taralo,
Mudaabhiri-naari-vadana-kamalaaswaada-madhupah
Ramaa-shambhu-brahmaamara-pati-Ganeshaarchita-pado,
Jagannathah Swami nayana-pathagaami bhavatu me
Meaning
He who once moved through the music of the Kalindi-grove, the bee that drank the nectar of the gopis' lotus faces — whose feet are worshipped by Lakshmi, Shambhu, Brahma, Indra, and Ganesha — may that Lord Jagannath enter the path of my eyes.

देवनागरी
रथारूढो गच्छन् पथि मिलित-भूदेव-पटलैः,
स्तुति-प्रादुर्भावम् प्रति-पदम् उपाकर्ण्य सदयः।
दया-सिन्धुर्बन्धुः सकल-जगतां सिन्धु-सुतया,
जगन्नाथः स्वामी नयन-पथगामी भवतु मे॥
Transliteration
Rathaaroodho gachchan pathi militha-bhoodeva-patalaih,
Stuti-praadurbhaavam prati-padam upaakarnya sadayah
Dayaa-sindhurbandhuh sakala-jagataam sindhu-sutayaa,
Jagannathah Swami nayana-pathagaami bhavatu me
Meaning
Mounted upon the chariot, moving along the road — at every step listening with mercy to the brahmins' praise — ocean of compassion, kin to every world, beside Lakshmi the daughter of the sea — may that Lord Jagannath enter the path of my eyes.
