Om Jai Gange Maataa, Shri Jai Gange Maataa
Jo nar tumko dhyaataa, manvaanchhit phal paataa
Meaning
Victory, Mother Ganga — whoever meditates on you receives the fruit of every wish in their heart.

देवनागरी
चन्द्र-सी जोत तुम्हारी, जल निर्मल आता।
शरण पड़े जो तेरी, सो नर तर जाता॥
Transliteration
Chandra-see jot tumhaaree, jal nirmal aataa
Sharan pade jo teree, so nar tar jaataa
Meaning
Your radiance is like the moon's; your waters flow pure. Whoever takes refuge with you crosses the ocean of existence.

देवनागरी
पुत्र सगर के तारे, सब झूले-वंशी।
कृपा बिन्दु से उनके, मिले मुक्ति बंशी॥
Transliteration
Putra Sagar ke taare, sab jhoole-vanshee
Kripaa bindu se unke, mile mukti vanshee
Meaning
You ferried Sagara's sixty thousand sons across the sea of birth and death; from a single drop of your grace, the dynasty received liberation.

तुम्हरा जल अमृत है, अघ-पाप का नाशा।
हरिद्वार-काशी प्रयाग, तीनों तीरथ-वासा॥
Transliteration
Tumharaa jal amrit hai, agh-paap kaa naashaa
Haridwaar-Kaashee Prayaag, teenon teerath-vaasaa
Meaning
Your waters are nectar, the destroyer of every fault and sin. Haridwar, Kashi, Prayag — at all three tirthas you make your dwelling.
