ॐ जय शिव ओंकारा, स्वामी जय शिव ओंकारा। ब्रह्मा, विष्णु, सदाशिव, अर्धांगी धारा॥
Transliteration
Om Jai Shiv Omkara, Swami Jai Shiv Omkara Brahma, Vishnu, Sadashiv, ardhangi dhara
Meaning
Victory to Shiva, the primal Om-form — who holds within himself Brahma, Vishnu, and Sadashiva, with Parvati as half his body.

Verse 2
देवनागरी
एकानन चतुरानन पञ्चानन राजे। हंसासन गरुड़ासन वृषवाहन साजे॥
Transliteration
Ekaanan chaturaanan panchaanan raaje Hansaasan garudaasan vrishavaahan saaje
Meaning
One-faced, four-faced, five-faced he reigns. He is adorned upon the swan, the eagle, and the bull — the three trinities are his vehicles.

देवनागरी
दो भुज चार चतुर्भुज दशभुज अति सोहे। त्रिगुण रूप निरखता त्रिभुवन-जन मोहे॥
Transliteration
Do bhuj chaar chaturbhuj dashabhuj ati sohe Trigun roop nirakhata tribhuvan-jan mohe
Meaning
Two-armed, four-armed, ten-armed — he gleams in every form. Beholding his triple-quality form, the three worlds are enchanted.

देवनागरी
अक्षमाला वनमाला, मुण्डमाला धारी। चन्दन मृगमद सोहे भाले शशिधारी॥
Transliteration
Akshamala vanmala, mundmala dhari Chandan mrigmad sohe bhaale shashidhari
Meaning
He wears the rudraksha mala, the forest garland, and the garland of skulls. Sandalwood and musk gleam on his forehead, and the moon rests upon his brow.

देवनागरी
श्वेताम्बर पीताम्बर बाघम्बर अंगे। सनकादिक गरुड़ादिक भूतादिक संगे॥
Transliteration
Shwetambar peetambar baghambar ange Sanakadik garudadik bhootadik sange
Meaning
White silks, yellow silks, the tiger-skin upon his body — Sanaka, Garuda, and the celestial hosts move with him.

देवनागरी
कर के मध्य कमण्डलु चक्र त्रिशूलधारी। सुख-कारी दुख-हारी जग-पालन-कारी॥
Transliteration
Kar ke madhya kamandalu chakra trishuldhari Sukh-kaari dukh-haari jag-paalan-kaari
Meaning
In his hand the kamandalu, the chakra, the trident he holds — bringer of joy, remover of grief, sustainer of the world.
