Refund & cancellation policy
Astroly.in is operated by Webest Technologies Private Limited. This policy explains when and how you can get a refund across our different products — AI readings, wallet recharges, personalised reports, pooja bookings, and shop orders. We've kept it specific and in plain English. All prices are in INR and include applicable taxes.
1 · AI readings & Ask a Jyotishi
- Delivered answers are non-refundable. A reading is generated and consumed instantly using your birth chart, so once an answer is shown it cannot be returned.
- Failed generation is auto-reversed. If an answer fails to generate due to a server or network error, the wallet charge is automatically credited back to your wallet — you don't need to ask.
- Wrong charge? If you were charged but received no answer, write to us within 7 days with the question ID and we'll reverse it.
- Accuracy depends on the birth details you enter. Inaccurate date / time / place produces an inaccurate reading and is not grounds for a refund.
2 · Wallet recharges
- Wallet top-ups are processed securely through our payment gateway (Razorpay).
- Recharged wallet balance never expires and stays usable across all paid features.
- Wallet credit is non-transferable and has no cash-redemption value outside the platform. Unused balance is not refundable to your bank in the normal course.
- If you close your account, you may request a refund of any unused recharged balance to your original payment method, minus payment-gateway charges — written to support@webest.dev.
3 · Personalised reports & handwritten Janam Patrika
- Paid reports (Life, Career, Love, Yearly, Remedies, Gemstone) and the hand-written Janam Patrika are custom-prepared for you.
- Full refund if you cancel before preparation has started, or if the report is not delivered within the timeline promised at checkout.
- Once preparation has begun (especially the hand-written patrika, which a jyotishi writes by hand), the order is non-refundable as it cannot be reused for anyone else.
- If a delivered report has a factual error in the chart computation (wrong placements for the birth details you provided), we correct and re-issue it free of charge.
4 · Astrologer consultations
- When live consultations are available, charges are for the astrologer's time during a chat or call session.
- Full refund if the astrologer does not join, or the session fails entirely due to a technical issue on our side.
- If a session is cut short by a technical failure, the unused minutes are credited back to your wallet.
- Completed sessions are non-refundable.
5 · Pooja bookings
- A pandit-led pooja can be cancelled for a full refund up to 24 hours before the scheduled time.
- Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled pooja are eligible for a 50% refund, since materials and the pandit's slot are already arranged.
- No refund once the pooja has been performed. You'll receive the sankalp details and any recording/photos promised at booking.
6 · Shop orders (yantras, gemstones, malas, books)
- Physical products can be returned within 7 days of delivery if they arrive damaged, defective, or are the wrong item — with an unboxing photo/video where possible.
- Approved returns are refunded to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after we receive the item back, or credited to your wallet immediately if you prefer.
- For hygiene and energisation reasons, gemstones and energised/abhimantrit items are not returnable unless they are defective or were sent in error.
- We don't accept returns for used, altered, or worn items, or where the tamper seal is broken (except defects).
7 · Payment failures & double charges
If money was deducted but the recharge or order did not complete, or you were charged twice, the failed/duplicate amount is refunded automatically by the payment gateway, typically within 5–7 business days. If it doesn't appear, send us the payment reference and we'll chase it with the gateway.
8 · How to request a refund
- Email support@webest.dev from your registered email/phone, with the order ID, question ID, or payment reference.
- Or call / WhatsApp +91 76698 83886 (Mon–Sat, 10 AM – 7 PM IST).
- We acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days and resolve eligible ones within 5–7 business days.
- Approved refunds go to your original payment method, or to your Astroly wallet if you choose — wallet credit is instant.
