देवनागरी
गले में बैजन्ती माला, बजावे मुरली मधुर बाला।
श्रवण में कुण्डल झलकाला, नंद के आनन्द नन्दलाला॥
गगन सम अंग कांति काली, राधिका चमक रही आली।
लतन में ठाढ़े बनमाली, भ्रमर सी अलक, कस्तूरी तिलक॥
Transliteration
Gale mein baijanti maala, bajaave murli madhur baala
Shravan mein kundal jhalkaala, Nand ke aanand nandlaala
Gagan sam ang kanti kaali, Radhika chamak rahi aali
Latan mein thaadhe banamali, bhramar si alak, kasturi tilak
Meaning
Around his neck the Vaijayanti garland, on his lips the sweet flute. Earrings glint at his ears, the joy of Nanda — the dark beloved son. His form is as the deep blue sky; beside him Radha shines. He stands in the creepers, garlanded with forest blooms — bee-like locks, musk-tilak on his brow.

कनकमय मोर मुकुट बिलसे, देवता दर्शन को तरसें।
गगन सों सुमन रासि बरसें, बजे मुरचंग, मधुर मिरदंग॥
ग्वालिन संग अतुल रति गोपकुमार की, आरती कुञ्ज बिहारी की॥
Transliteration
Kanakmay mor mukut bilse, devata darshan ko tarsen
Gagan son suman raasi barsen, baje murchang, madhur mirdang
Gwaalin sang atul rati gopkumar ki, aarti Kunj Bihari ki
Meaning
A golden peacock crown gleams upon him; the gods themselves long for his sight. Flowers shower from the sky; the murchang and the sweet mridang sound. With the gopis, the cowherd boy plays in unmatched delight — I offer the aarti to the Kunj Bihari.
