देवनागरी
जय जय कुबेर भण्डारी।
जय यक्षेश्वर तेज प्रचारी॥
निधियों के तुम स्वामी कहाते।
लक्ष्मी के तुम सेवक माने जाते॥
Transliteration
Jai jai Kuber bhandaaree
Jai Yaksheshwar tej prachaaree
Nidhiyon ke tum swaamee kahaate
Lakshmi ke tum sevak maane jaate
Meaning
Victory, victory, Kuber the treasurer; victory, lord of the yakshas, spreader of splendour. You are called the master of the treasures; you are honoured as Lakshmi's devoted servant.

अलकापुरी का तुम स्वामी।
नगर अति सुन्दर सुख-धामी॥
कुम्भ-समान काया विराजे।
धन-कनक भर भण्डार साजे॥
Transliteration
Alakaa-puree kaa tum swaamee
Nagar ati sundar sukh-dhaamee
Kumbh-samaan kaayaa viraaje
Dhan-kanak bhar bhandaar saaje
Meaning
Master of Alakapuri — your city, supremely beautiful, the abode of joy. Your form gleams pot-bellied, the storehouse fully arrayed with wealth and gold.

दीनबन्धु धन के दाता।
भक्तन के तुम पालन-कर्ता॥
जो कोई पाठ चालीसा गाये।
धन-समृद्धि घर भर पाये॥
Transliteration
Deen-bandhu dhan ke daataa
Bhaktan ke tum paalan-kartaa
Jo koi paath chaaleesaa gaaye
Dhan-samriddhi ghar bhar paaye
Meaning
Friend of the destitute, giver of wealth — sustainer of your devotees. Whoever sings this Chalisa fills their home with wealth and abundance.
